Etymology

His Japanese name, "Horyu", is a visual pun on horyū (保留, "postponing, second-guessing"), using the second kanji's pronounciation to make it a homophone with ryū (龍, "dragon").

His English name, "Draaagin", is a combination of "drag on" or "dragging" and "dragon" sporting the triple 'a' to simulate delayed a speech or thought.
