Old Lady Dream Theater: Act I (Japanese: 妖怪むかし話 ～かぐや姫～,Yōkai Mukashibanashi ~Kaguya-hime~), Yo-kai Gutsy Bones (Japanese: 妖怪ガシャどくろ,Yōkai Daidarabotchi), and Yo-kai Furdinand (Japanese: 妖怪ふさふさん,Yōkai Fusafusan) is the 54th episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on January 30, 2015, and in the United States on December 28, 2016.
After Nate loses his soccer ball and finds it, he discovers the Old Lady Dreamer who tells them her dream based on the story of Princess Kaguya. Nate wants to get a rare Emporor Krills figure from a gasha machine and keeps cranking until he meets Yo-kai Gutsy Bones. People end up with stylish hairdos, with Yo-kai Furdinand.
This episode features a line that got lost in translation; Jibanyan, Whisper and Komasan rarely say their verbal tics in the English dub.
The Old Lady Dream Theater segments were mostly rewritten for the dub. While the stories were kept the same, it is claimed the lady told folk stories in the original while in the dub, she has had dreams based on the stories themselves.
Also, the books showcasing the stories have been replaced with "JOURNAL" on the cover.
Whifusaa was changed to Justin Whiesper in the dub, even though the real-life artist himself never had hair like that.
The Space Wars logo on the gacha machine was removed.
