Trivia[]

  • Nate's pose when he plans to defeat Gimme is almost similar to his game artwork from Yo-kai Watch 2.
  • The Mobo branding on the eraser Gimme steals is a parody of Mono.
  • This episode marks the first and only appearance of the Spirit & Soul Doughnuts shop in the anime.
  • The scene where Nate licks a cherry is a reference to Kakyoin licking a cherry with his tongue from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The scene from the referencing anime has become a joke around the internet.
  • The manga Gimme steals is a parody of Zettai Zetsumei: Denjarasu Jii-san, with the exception of the main protagonist being an old lady.

Dub Differences[]

  • The wording on the television remote has been removed.
  • The tip of Tublappa's tongue and the wash-basket has been changed from maroon to green, likely to reduce the suggestiveness.
    • Erroneously in the scene where Nate ends up licking Eddie's hairstyle, the tip of the tongue is still maroon.
  • The Japanese salt candies were renamed to doughnuts.

Errors[]

  • Count Zapaway's medal doesn't have the Yo-Motion symbol added in the English dub.
