Yo-kai Tanzaku that Grants Wishes! (Japanese: 争奪戦! 願いがかなう妖怪短冊 Sōdatsu-sen! Negai ga kanau yōkai tanzaku) and Yo-kai Treetter (Japanese: 妖怪 つぶや木 Yōkai Tsubayaki) is the 178th episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on July 7, 2017.
Summary[]
Mr. Crabbycat attempts to handle some classmates who base their questions in the form of a quiz show. On Tanabata, one of the wish-granting tanazku strips from the Yo-kai World ends up in Springdale. Nate suddenly finds his father obsessively taking pictures of the starter course with his smartphone, and finds that Yo-kai Treetter has been inspiriting him.

- This is the second time that Hidabat is seen outside.

- The Yo-kai Pad cleaner Whisper receives as a gift bears resemblance to Hasbro Medal Moments figure that comes with the Yo-kai Pad set.
- Whisper grows a long nose in a reference to Pinocchio when he lies about going with Retreeter.
