Elloo (Japanese: かげ老師 Kagerōshi) is a Rank C Ice-attribute Yo-kai of the Mysterious tribe.

Appearance

Elloo is a palette swap of Illoo. He has pink skin and a white beard. His eyebrows are also white and are long enough to create a circle around the Yo-kai's head. His hat and robe are blue with purple trim at the ends of the sleeves and light pink trim at the front. Underneath he is wearing a pink kimono. He also has a light blue beaded necklace with a dark blue charm in the middle. In his hand is a wooden stick.

How to befriend

Yo-kai Watch

Elloo appears on trees and under vending cars and machines everywhere in Downtown Springdale, as well as all floors of the Construction Site at night.

Elloo can be found in the area behind the 10 Gate Globe Door in the Museum. He can also be freed from the Crank-a-kai using a Yellow Coin in the past.

History

Trivia

Name Origin

"Kagerōshi" translates as "shadow mentor". It's also a wordplay on kagerō (陽炎, "heat haze").

"Elloo" is a corruption of elude/elusion, which is the act of escaping.
