Trivia[]

  • The song appears to be a homage to "Arashi wo Yobu Otoko" (Man Who Causes a Storm) by Yujiro Ishihara, the theme song to the 1957 film of the same name.
  • This is the only song sequence throughout the series where the on-screen lyrics are animated.
  • This is the only opening to not include Komasan and Komajiro.
  • This is the very first opening song to be translated into European languages directly from Japanese rather than English, whereas the English version did not dub this song.
  • The opening sequence is censored in Boing's broadcast of Yo-kai Watch in France and Spain: in the first few shots as well as the final shot of the cast dancing, the tadpole-like figures in the background have their tails painted over or are removed entirely. It was likely done because they unintentionally resembled sperm.
    • Due to a credit in the center of the screen appearing near one of these tadpoles in the latter shot, Boing opts to freeze on the first frame of the next shot of Whisper where the credit appears, and then unfreeze when the shot starts.
    • These edits are not applied by any other networks the French and Spanish dubs air on.
  • This song was used in the first reveal trailer of Yo-kai Watch 3, though the main theme was changed to Dokuritsu Sengen and You Got A Otomodachi.
  • This song is one of the available songs in Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Adventure 2.
