The level that is required to make Komajiro evolve into Komiger inexplicably varies from the different game series since the line's inclusion. In Yo-kai Watch, it was originally set at Lv. 35, and in Yo-kai Watch 2, it is set at Lv. 33. As of Yo-kai Watch Blasters, he can evolves into Komiger when fused with a Swirly Soul.
Komajiro is a komainu who more closely resembles a shiba inu. His fur is ochre-colored with a cream patch around his muzzle and stomach; his inner-ears and tail are a darker shade of ochre. He has light blue eyes and brown swirls on his cheeks and hips. Similar to his brother, he has long, brown, flaming eyebrows which resemble hitodama flames. He also carries a blue pouch adorned with a swirl pattern.
Just like his older brother, Komajiro has a human form that he transforms into by putting a leaf on top of his head.
Personality[]
Komajiro is similar to Komasan, though he's more curious and optimistic, unlike his brother where he adapts much quicker to urban life to the point that it renders Komasan a tad jealous. He picks up city lingo, gets accustomed to modern technology to the point of him becoming a DJ at a nightclub where he adapts his nickname of KJ. Despite being more skilled than Komasan and tends to expect more from him, he still sees him as impressive and inspirational to him.
Abilities[]
In games it is well known that Komajiro has abilities related to electricity, like throwing lightning bolts and so on. In the anime this is never shown or in the manga.

Komajiro is mainly featured in the mini-corners alongside Komasan, although, they also appear in some of Nate’s segments.
Komasan and Komajiro are the only mascot Yo-kai to have a completely different name in the Korean localization.
Komasan and Komajiro's Japanese catchphrase and verbal tic in Japanese were originally conceived by Kato Yoichi, a writer for the Yo-kai Watch anime series.[1] Though not appearing in the Yo-kai Watch video game, It would later go on to be a substandard for the character itself, appearing in the games, manga and various other Yo-kai Watch-related media.
In episodes of the Yo-kai Watch anime before EP029, he and Komasan had a slightly different-looking appearance compared to newer episodes, closely resembling his artwork from the game with thinner arms and legs and a less rounder head shape.
In some media depictions of the Yo-kai, Komajiro is erroneously drawn without the white color on his muzzle. Early Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble renders, his model in the first game, and the earlier cover of the IDW Yo-kai Watch comic series are one of the examples.
