Moskevil (Japanese: ジャネガブーン Janegabuun) is a Rank C, Drain-attribute Yo-kai of the Shady tribe.

Moskevil evolves from Negatibuzz starting at level 17.

Moskevil is a larger, moth-like version of Negatibuzz. His robe is purple and his hands are like a witch. He has a pair of brown moth-like antennae on his head. His wings have become a bluish-grey and become moth-like. His nose is now curved and golden, and gained a drill flute-like ridge.

Moskevil also appears on trees everywhere in Uptown Springdale, and on the 1st Floor of the Construction Site at night (Downtown Springdale).

Etymology

  • "Janegabuun" combines ja (Japanese: evil, In the On reading), negative and buun, which is the Japanese onomatopoeia for an insect's buzzing.
  • "Moskevil" is a corruption/portmanteau of the word mosquito and evil.
  • In Spanish, "Deprisquito" is a combination of depresivo (depressant) and mosquito.
