Origin
Nobunyaga is a character that hails from the Koei browser game series "Samurai Cats" (Japanese: のぶニャがの野望 Nobunyaga no Yabō), a game based on the Sengoku period of Japan with all figures in that time period replaced with cat counterparts.
Name Origin
Just like in the original, Oda Nobunyaga's name is a pun on Nobunaga (Japanese: 信長（のぶなが）) by changing the second to last kana to a "nya", the Japanese onomatopoeia of a cat's meow.
