Not to be confused with Roary.

Rawry (Japanese: 爆音ならし Bakuon-narashi) is a Rank B, Ice-attribute Yo-kai of the Eerie tribe.
Rawry evolves from Squeeky when fused with a Horn.
In Yo-kai Watch: Ukiukipedia Kiwami and Yo-kai Watch: Ukiukipedia Gakuen Y, he is classified as the Uwanosora tribe.
Biology[]
He's like Squeeky dressed up as a teenager punk, but instead of holding maracas, he holds the handles of a motorcycle that has loud speakers.
Usually, he acts tough and like a bratty hooligan and punk, but when his glasses are removed, he becomes timid and scared. He also uses the phrases "La-dee-da!" and "Paradittle, paradittle" in the English dub of the anime.
Wherever he goes, there will be a lot of annoying and deafening loud sounds. Usually, the residents of a neighborhood get blamed for this.

In the anime[]
Rawry first appeared in EP076. While Nate was listening to his neighbor playing a trumpet, Rawry turned the sound into discordant noises. Nate found him and summoned Roughraff, but in spite of this, Roughraff befriended Rawry himself, and the two took off together to make loud noise.
Jibanyan attacked Rawry, sending Roughraff flying and accidentally revealing that Rawry's personality gets weaker without his sunglasses, so Nate summoned Peckpocket to attack Rawry and steal his sunglasses. Rawry later apologized and handed over his Yo-kai Medal but said that making loud noises was his nature. Thankfully Komasan and Komajiro happened to be there and told him about the club they had been to previously.
Rawry reappeared in EP124, where he and Peckpocket asked Hailey and Usapyon to investigate their friend Roughraff, who had been acting strange recently.
Etymology[]
- "Bakuon-narashi" translates as "boom maker".
- "Rawry" is derived from roar, an onomatopoeia for, in this case, an engine revving and the male name Rory.
