Snortlehog (Japanese: ねぶた Nebuta) is a Rank B, Fire-attribute Local Yo-kai of the Brave tribe.

Snortlehog evolves from Slumberhog when fused with a Goldfish Lantern.

Biology

Snortlehog takes on the appearance of a large pig with markings on his face. He also has wild black hair and a hat. He wears shoulder armor and orange robes tied with a yellow rope.

Snortlehog first appears at the end of Episode 89 Yo-kai Slumberhog, after it evolved from Slumberhog when Jibanyan woke it up by straightening its tail.

Etymology

Snortlehog is a corruption on the Word Snort combined with hog.

Nebuta's japanese name remains the same except this time its written in all Hiragana. His name actually comes from the Japanese Nebuta Festival.
