This cute cat Yo-kai was born from a peach and raised by a kindly old couple before setting off on a demon-destroying adventure.
Taronyan ( is a Japanese: モモタロニャン ) Momotaronyan Rank A Fire-attribute Rare Yo-kai of the Brave tribe.
Yo-kai inspired by Momotarō, a Japanese fairytale. The cat is peach-pink with a pale pink-white muzzle, chest, and paw tips. Its inner ear, tail flames, and sphere attached to the collar are light blue. It has black hair worn in a top knot with two tufts of bangs hanging loose over a white headband depicting a peach on it. It wears a red and goldenrod jacket and teal pants over its gold belt. On its back is a banner that reads Nippon ichi (日本一, "number one in Japan").

"Momotarōnyan" is a combination of "Momotarō" and "-nyan".
"Taronyan" is merely his Japanese name shortened.
He is based on
Momotarō, protagonist of the eponymous fairytale.
In Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, when Pheasanyan is befriended, he says "Momotaronyan", even though his name was changed in localization.
The French and English name use half of the name "Momotaro". The french name use "Momo" while the English name uses "Taro" with both names using "nyan" respectively.
