Washogun (Japanese: アライ魔将 Arai Mashō) is a Rank B Ice-attribute Yo-kai of the Brave tribe.

Washogun evolves from Brushido starting at level 19.

Washogun resembles that of a Japanese shogun except his armor is completely white and instead of a sword, he wields a bottle of germ cleaner.

Washogun has a fanatical dedication to cleanliness, declaring that settling for a mere appearance of "looking kinda clean" is unacceptable. He adopts many mannerisms of a feudal warlord.

His mission is to clean every house in Japan.

Washogun leads a personal army of Brushido foot soldiers, who clean under his supervision.

How to Befriend

Yo-kai Watch 2

Evolve Brushido at Level 19.

  • Befriended: "Splendid victory! Allow me to clean up after you!"
  • Loafing: "Clearing my head."
  • Being traded: "Do my eyes deceive me? This filthy! I will put it to rights!"
  • Receiving food (favorite): "That's great!"
  • Receiving food (normal): "Meh."
  • Receiving food (disliked): " *hack* EW!"

Washogun first appears in EP050 where he leads an army of Brushido into Nate's house, having been drawn to his desire to clean the house so he can bargain for a bigger allowance from his parents. Having declared a war on filth, Washogun leads the Brushido into making every room spotless. However, the Brushido's work is quickly undone by the presence of the Messyrai, filth-dedicated counterparts to the Brushido. Washogun determines that the Messyrai are being led by a tactical genius of filth, who turns out to be Jibanyan being a slob. Under Nate's order, Washogun and the Brushido meet the Messyrai in an unseen battle that ends with Jibanyan being thrown through the roof.
