Whinona (Japanese: こんがらギャル Kongaragyaru) is a Rank A Lightning-attribute Yo-kai of the Slippery tribe.

Whinona evolves from Snaggly starting at Lv. 29.

Appearance

Whinona has yellow fur on most of her body, the rest of her skin is brown. Her mouth outline is pink. She has blue eyes and yellow eyebrows that look like her fur. She has three curly red strings coming out of the top of her head. Also, she wears green shoes.

Etymology

  • Kongaragal is a portmanteau of kongaragaru (こんがらがる), meaning to become entangled, and gal (ギャル, gyaru), referring to Japan's fashion-conscious female teenager subculture.
  • Her english name is portmanteau of Whine a word meaning a high-pitch cry and the female name Winona.
